In a violent, post-pandemic world, a peace-loving man is forced on a desperate journey to find life-saving drugs for his wife—but to get them he must first help an ornery old man defend his cabin against all-comers.
'Northspur' is a craft of love over 5 years in the making, from local writer Justin Eade and Blenheim director Aaron Falvey, and shot entirely in Nelson and Marlborough. It is an action/thriller set in a violent post-pandemic world, where a peace-loving man is forced into turmoil and thrust on a journey to find life-saving drugs for his wife. Ironically the only way he can procure them is by helping a ruthless old man defend his cabin against all-comers.
Watch this exclusive premiere right at our very own Suter Theatre, here on Sunday the 4th of September, before it’s big US release through a major studio later this year!
Come along and dress-up at our Red Carpet event and meet the director, writer, and producers, as well as some of the cast and crew - take photos with them and support local filmmakers before their big International release. Then stay after the film for an in-depth Q and A with the filmmakers.
Doors will open an hour before the film starts – Don’t miss out.
